Classic Half Day Whitewater Rafting Trip

Experience 8 miles of wet-n-wild class III rapids on the Yellowstone River! This whitewater experience provides the perfect amount of excitement along with beautiful scenic mountains and spectacular river frontage. Full Day Whitewater Rafting Trip

Our professional rafting guides will take you down 18 miles of the Yellowstone River and through class III plus rapids. We will break for lunch on a small island before hitting the Yankee Jim Canyon to round out a 4-5 hour adventure-packed day. BOOK TRIP NOW!

Amazing Tipi Overnight Raft Trip!

This trip is truly the ultimate in adventure and outdoor experience. As we transport you to the river, our driver will shuttle your vehicle and belongings to our beautiful tipi camp. Your overnight adventure begins with 4 miles of whitewater action! Arriving in camp at 5:00 pm, you will be greeted by our host and taken to your tipi. After a hot shower and change of clothes, you will rendezvous at the cabin for a steak dinner, Montana style. Your evening will be spent gazing at the mountain sunset and viewing stars by campfire. There is plenty of space for the kids to play and plenty of time for the adults to relax.

Your morning will begin at 8:30 am with a hearty breakfast of pancakes, toast, bacon and eggs, hot chocolate or coffee.

At 10:00 am you will be paddling on the Yellowstone River for another exciting day. Our driver will shuttle your vehicle back to our office where it will be waiting for you on your return.

The morning will be filled with spectacular scenery and a calm stretch of river. At noon, we will break for a picnic lunch on the river bank. Then we conquer more whitewater action through the beautiful and historic Yankee Jim Canyon! This trip will finish around 2:00pm. Our driver will transport you back to the Wild West Rafting office. Exciting photos of your trip can be viewed at this time, taken by our staff photographer.

This overnight is simply the best way to enjoy the Yellowstone River and the surrounding Absaroka Mountains while taking in the camping experience. Small Boat, BIG Water!

Paddle hard! Run Yankee Jim Canyon for an unforgettable whitewater rafting experience. This is a special whitewater experience for hard-core enthusiasts. You will experience 8 miles of the Yellowstone River facing class III and class IV rapids. Minimum trip size 6, maximum is 8 adults looking for a thrilling ride. Inflatable Kayak Trip:

Experience the thrill of navigating a kayak through 6 miles of the Yellowstone River! With one of our patient and knowledgeable guides by your side, you will enjoy the ride of a lifetime. “I was shivering, but it wasn’t because of the cold. I was in Yellowstone National Park. I was thinking about how many butterflies I had in my stomach. I was about to go on my first white – water raft trip. When I got in the raft, the guy who was going to steer the raft was telling us the things that could happen to us. He finally got to the part where he said, “If you happen to fall out of the raft…” I didn’t need to hear anymore! I had already clung on to my Dad. As soon as the guy was done, the puffy raft took off into the cool, clear water. I had forgotten to bring my coat so I used my Mom’s. The river was calm but I could hear the sounds of rushing water. It was getting closer and closer and I was getting more and more scared. Then all of a sudden, the boat started getting faster and faster and it seemed as though it was going up and down, and it was! I was on white water! My arm was linked through my Mom’s cold arm. We went through a series of wild white water. After we got off the raft my Dad told me that when he looked back to see if I was still scared, he saw that I was grinning ear to ear.”
